G-8: Bono's the One

Quillnews was happy to sign the One petition here. Any doubts I had about this trendy do-gooder initiative being just another goo-goo ego trip by loony lefties, have been dashed by long standing and sincere efforts by Bob Geldoff and U2's Bono to build political consensus for African debt relief and reform, and the responsible leadership they have shown in touting the Live 8 concerts. I encourage any doubters to read the transcript of Bono’s interview Sunday on Meet the Press. The guy is right. Good on ‘ya, mate. (Editor’s aside: G-8. Don’t forget loose nukes!)
